Any other hidden cost?

Yes, there are. Our course fee does not include the fees payable to CAAS directly. They are the CAAS Theory Examination Registration Fees (S$125.00/attempt) and the CAAS UAPL Licence for the UA Category (S$500 for the first category).

Do you really need a Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL)?

The question would be your purpose for flying the Unmanned Aircraft (UA). If it is for commercial purpose, it’s a big YES! You definitely need a UAPL.
